Alcatel Flash Plus 2: unboxing a metal smartphone that will last a couple of years and be forgotten
Alcatel decided to start this year with a loud announcement and introduced a new generation of Idol smartphones. With them, the brand again tried to present its interpretation of the flagships. But today we are not talking about them. A strong mid- range Alcatel Flash Plus 2 has arrived, where among its main features is a smart Touch ID sensor that can identify the owner and offers quick access to the necessary applications. Today is our first acquaintance with a smartphone.
Outwardly, this is a familiar and ordinary Alcatel, the feature is in the metal back panel and the body is made collapsible, which is more of an advantage than a minus. There are no complaints about the build quality, except for the hardware key on the front surface, which disappointed with both the design and the creak when pressed. The smartphone feels good in the hand, but its dimensions are larger than its competitors. The fingerprint scanner surprises with its reaction speed and sensitivity. As for a mid-range smartphone, the display quality here is just right, although we have seen better. They obviously saved money on the oleophobic coating, which means that you will have to make a little effort for the sensor to figure out what they want from it. From the point of view of the photographer, the cameras are here for amateurs, and their capabilities should be enough for the average user.
