What will be the iPhone 14 series: displays, chips and cameras
iPhone 14 is due to go according to plan. We are waiting for the release of the series in September and there is still plenty of time before it. But details about new products are gradually leaking into the network, including the most incredible ones. The other day, insiders posted CAD renderings of the iPhone 14 for public viewing, and today details about the display and other characteristics of the new products in the series have arrived.
According to sources, the iPhone 14 will offer a 6.06-inch 60Hz OLED screen. The display will receive two technological holes for the front camera and sensors necessary for the Face ID system to work.
iPhone 14 Pro will offer a matrix with the same diagonal, but it will have support for ProMotion technology. For the iPhone 14 Max and iPhone 14 Pro Max, they promise 6.68-inch OLED screens, but only the firmware will have an LTPO panel with support for dynamic refresh rates.
Among other things, the insider believes that all models of the iPhone 14 series will offer 6 GB of RAM. He also confirmed that only Pro versions will get the new Apple A16 Bionic chip and a triple main camera, while other smartphones will have to settle for the Apple A15 Bionic and install a couple of sensors on the back. The company is driven to this by the need to look for ways to curb the rise in price of its devices.
