Meizu has been especially prolific in the last year, and among the whole cohort of new products, we ignored the Meizu M3X . This is certainly unfair and we decided to fill this gap. Moreover, just a year ago, such a glass smartphone could well be presented as a flagship. Meizu M3X looks nice, it has a good display, a smart biometric sensor and a bright display. The advantages are obvious, we are looking for pitfalls.

The first and most obvious disadvantage is the slippery and easily soiled case. But how beautifully the smartphone “plays” and shimmers in the light. Such delights will appeal to many. No matter how we scolded Meizu for being faithful to MediaTek chips, but for the company of the 2016 model, this was an urgent need. If during normal use the smartphone works flawlessly, then everything falls into place when it comes to the video accelerator and gaming performance. The Meizu M3X is contraindicated for gamers, although heating practically does not manifest itself in any way and there is no throttling. As in many other inexpensive smartphones, the camera of our hero copes well with daytime shots, but night photos are full of noise, yes, and the autofocus operation leaves much to be desired. In general, this is a very controversial smartphone, and the lack of a global firmware is already seriously reducing its relevance for us.
