Will Oneplus stop working with Hasselblad?
Recent leaks point to this
Last year, Oneplus partnered with German optics maker Hasselblad in hopes of making the leap to mobile photography like Leica and Huawei did. But, unfortunately, the name of the famous brand on the back cover is not enough, and users did not feel much improvement in photo quality. And not so long ago, renders of a new smartphone from OnePlus appeared.
It will be the company's flagship, presumably the OnePlus 10 or 10t. The novelty will receive a 120-Hz amoled screen with a diagonal of 6.7 inches and Full HD + resolution. The top-end Snapdragon 8 plus gen1 will act as a hardware platform. And for the autonomy of the smartphone, a 4800 mAh battery will be responsible, the capacity of which can be quickly replenished using a fast 150-watt charge.
The design of the novelty almost completely copies the design of the already well-known OnePlus 10 pro. The exceptions are the flash, which has been moved higher, and the Hasselblad markings, which are missing from the new model. Have the companies stopped working? There are several options for what happens:
OnePlus has decided to keep the Hasselblad nameplate for pro models only;
The right to cooperate with Hasselblad was "squeezed out" by the parent company Oppo for the find x series models;
Which of these options will turn out to be true, only time will tell.
