Looks like Nothing phone (1) will offer nothing but design
But marketing works.
The closer we get to the Nothing phone (1) presentation, the more details we learn about it. So, according to information from MySmartPrice, the novelty has recently appeared in Geekbench.
In the image, you can see that the Nothing phone (1) processor is codenamed "lahaina". It should get eight cores divided into 3 clusters: one high-performance core with a frequency of 2.52 GHz, three medium ones with a frequency of 2.4 GHz, and a quartet of weak energy-efficient cores with a frequency of 1.8 GHz.
And, judging by these characteristics, the smartphone will be built on the basis of Snapdragon 778+. Compared to the usual 778 dragon, it will receive a Kryo 670 prime performance core overclocked from 2.4 to 2.52 GHz, and an Adreno 642L video chip overclocked by 20 percent. The new chip allowed Nothing phone (1) to show 797 m 2803 points in single-core and multi-core tests, respectively.
Geekbench also confirmed 8GB of RAM and Android 12 as the pre-installed OS. The smartphone will be presented on July 12 at a worldview called "Return to instinct" (return to instincts). The price of the novelty is expected to be around 350-380 US dollars.
Interestingly, in fact, Nothing phone (1) does not offer anything new, except for the design (very controversial, I must say). And all the hype is created thanks to marketing.
