Since the beginning of this year, rumors have regularly appeared about the imminent entry into the market of the youngest and most budgetary representative of the 12th Xiaomi series - Xiaomi 12 Lite. Many even began to doubt the existence of such a model, because the company has already released a relatively inexpensive Xiaomi 12X.

But recently, irrefutable evidence has appeared that the Chinese are still developing the Xiaomi 12 Lite model. A "live" video with this device in the lead role was leaked to the network. In the video, the smartphone is presented in soft pink color. In front, we see a picture typical of our days: a flat display with thin bezels and a small chin. Like the older "brothers", the front camera will be cut into a small hole in the center of the top of the screen. The rear panel is made in the same style with the entire 12th line.

It is expected that the novelty will be built on the basis of last year's sub-flagship chip Snapdragon 778G

The smartphone should receive a 6.55-inch screen made using Amoled technology, with FullHD + resolution and a refresh rate of 120 Hz. The device is also credited with 67-watt fast charging.

The main camera of Xiaomi 12 Lite will be represented by three lenses: a 108-megapixel main sensor with support for optical image stabilization, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide camera and a 5-megapixel macro module. The front camera will receive a resolution of 16 megapixels.

It is expected that the novelty will be available in three colors: pink, green and black. Two memory modifications are also expected: 6/128 and 8/128 GB. There is a chance (small, but still) that the Xiaomi 12 Lite will premiere along with the Xiaomi 12S series on July 5th.
